We’re looking for a Bilingual Producing Loan Partner based in Austin (preferred) or Albuquerque to partner closely with a top-producing Loan Originator and help drive a high-volume, fast-moving pipeline. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the client-facing side of lending but prefers a more stable, team-based production environment over fully self-sourced business.
This position blends origination, client management, and loan structuring, while still allowing for some personal production.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients throughout the loan process
- Take applications, structure files, and handle pre-approvals
- Communicate with borrowers, realtors, and internal partners to move loans efficiently from application to closing
- Quote rates and lock loans in alignment with company guidelines
- Review documentation for completeness, accuracy, and underwriting readiness
- Run automated underwriting and ensure files meet program requirements
- Maintain consistent communication with clients and referral partners, including weekly status updates
- Coordinate with processing and underwriting to keep files on track
- Support a high-producing Loan Originator by managing incoming business and pipeline flow
- Ensure all loans are complete and compliant prior to submission to processing
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 years of mortgage Loan Originator experience
- Open to candidates who started in processing and transitioned into origination
- Strong experience with:
- Pre-approvals and file structuring
- Conventional, FHA, and VA loan products
- Comfortable operating in a support-focused role vs. fully self-generated production
- Demonstrated production history around $3M–$4M annually (flexible based on overall experience)
- Strong communication and organizational skills, ability to manage multiple files at once
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Spanish language proficiency required (to support client communication needs)
REQUIREMENTS:
- Active NMLS license and ability to meet all federal registration requirements
- Working knowledge of mortgage lending regulations and compliance standards
- High attention to detail and commitment to delivering a strong client experience
