LAB TECHNICIAN II
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Reports to: Plant Manager
Compensation: $35 - $37/hr fully paid medical benefits

Your Role:
As a Lab Technician on our team you’ll play a vital role in ensuring product quality and supporting innovation through our patented technologies. From day-to-day quality control testing to contributing to R&D efforts, your work helps maintain our commitment to safe, sustainable, and high-performing emulsions for use around the world.
What You’ll Do:
· Conduct lab testing for quality control and R&D
· Ensure lab safety, cleanliness, and equipment upkeep
· Calibrate and maintain equipment
· Document and communicate test results accurately
· Assist in resolving product issues and process improvements
· Support internal assessments and external audits
· Contribute to continuous improvement of procedures and processes
What You’ll Bring:
· Technical certification or associate’s degree in chemistry preferred – high school diploma or GED required
· 2 years of lab experience, ideally working with emulsions and asphalt materials
· Familiarity with viscometers, ductility tests, ring and ball tests, and ASTM/AASHTO methods
· Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication
· Microsoft Office Suite experience in various programs
