Experienced Line Cook (Grill & Sautee)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Line Cook specializing in Grill and Sautee stations to join our vibrant culinary team. Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items on the grill and sautee stations according to standardized recipes and presentation standards
• Ensure all food safety sanitizing procedures are strictly followed to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
• Operate various kitchen equipment such as grills, sauté pans, knives, and other culinary tools efficiently and safely
• Assist in menu planning by providing input on ingredient quality, preparation methods, and presentation techniques
• Maintain high-volume production standards while adhering to recipe adherence and portion control guidelines
• Support food handling protocols to ensure freshness, quality, and safety of all ingredients used in meal preparation
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours and uphold the restaurant’s culinary standards

Experience

• Proven culinary experience in a fast-paced restaurant or fine dining environment with a focus on grilling and sautéing techniques
• Strong knowledge of food safety management practices, including sanitizing procedures and proper food handling
• Experience with food production, meal preparation, and operating kitchen equipment in high-volume settings
• Familiarity with dietary department requirements and catering experience is a plus
• Skilled in knife skills, braising, poaching, and other advanced cooking methods
• Previous dietary aide or menu planning experience is advantageous but not required
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
