About the Role:
Join Waterstone Counseling Center LLC as a Licensed Therapist and make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and families in our office located in the beautiful historic downtown of Madison, CT We are seeking compassionate and dedicated professionals to provide high-quality mental health services in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on client needs.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to promote client well-being.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client care.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
- Facilitate workshops and community outreach programs.
- Stay current with best practices in mental health treatment and attend professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
- Current state licensure minimum required LMSW, or LADC, or LPC-A
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with diverse populations and a variety of therapeutic modalities.
- Experience with or a desire to work with susbtance use disorder clientele
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and ethical practice.
- Compassionate demeanor and a passion for helping others.
