The role
The Cloud Infrastructure team at Watershed owns foundational capabilities that our product is built upon, as well as many of the tools our engineering teams use to orchestrate workloads and deploy, test, scale, and observe their code in production. We support an application with a quickly growing codebase and build systems that are used by every single engineer at the company. We are looking for team members who love building the enabling systems that empower other engineers to deliver a high quality end-user experience.
We’re looking for folks with experience managing cloud infrastructure, working through various stages of scale, and helping Engineering be more effective and productive. Specific experience with Google Cloud Platform is desirable, but not strictly required.

- You have 3 years of engineering experience
- You’ve worked on Infrastructure or Platform teams, or on significant projects involving infrastructure components (e.g. multi-region architecture, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, kubernetes, release management, observability, cloud security)
- You enjoy the challenge of building the appropriate level of tooling for the stage and arc of the company
- You enjoy collaborating closely with engineering teams to deliver great customer outcomes
