What are the responsibilities and job description for the Burrito Roller/Line Cook position at Watershed Hospitality Group?
BTB Burrito is looking for a motivated, dedicated burrito roller/line cook for evenings and late night service. BTB Burrito is known for our classic Mexican fare from burritos to quesadillas to nachos. BTB is located inside the same building as our other business Good Time Charley's and customers can either order BTB when they sit down to eat or grab food from our BTB pickup window out front, along with pickup online. BTB Burrito has been an Ann Arbor and University of Michigan staple since we opened our doors and even through moving locations.
BTB Burrito is open until 11pm Sundays and Mondays, 1am Tuesday and Wednesday, and 2:30am Thursday through Saturday. We are looking for someone who can work late nights and close the kitchen those nights and must have weekend availability.
Responsibilities:
- Prioritizes tickets efficiently; time management is paramount to success in this role
- Proactively sets up and stocks stations with supplies
- Understands food portioning for restaurant menu and specifications
- Stressful environment; need to be able to coordinate tickets
- Maintains composure, remains calm and patient despite dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Completes standard processes using BTB Burrito’s endorsed methods
- Supports other team members to ensure smooth operations and a seamless customer experience
- Completes side work with professionalism and commitment to quality
- Brings a positive attitude every shift and treats everyone (clients and colleagues alike) with respect
- Maintains composure, remains calm and patient despite dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Is consistent with service approach and models organization’s values

Must have exceptional hygiene and grooming habits
Experience is required:
Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line cook, restaurant cook or prep cook
Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
ServSafe certification preferred
