Summary Description
WatersEdge is seeking a temporary Human Resources Generalist to provide support during a maternity leave period. This individual will assist in day-to-day HR operations, including employee onboarding/offboarding, recruiting, performance management, benefits administration, payroll processing, and general HR support. This position plays a vital role in maintaining continuity, compliance, and a high level of service to employees during the leave period.

The temporary Human Resources Generalist reports to the Chief Operating Officer.

Broad Job Responsibilities
- Administer and oversee the payroll system with proper internal controls
- Assist with full-cycle recruiting, including posting jobs, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and coordinating offers
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including system entry, document collection, exit interviews, and coordination with IT and other departments
- Coordinate employee benefits and enrollment processes, including Open Enrollment in December.
- Oversee the employee performance review process, including the development of employee improvement plans as needed
- Plan, organize, and assist in executing employee events including companywide All Staff events and celebrations
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with all policies and procedures
- Provide general administrative support for HR projects as assigned
Job Classifications and Requirements
- As a Christian organization, WatersEdge qualifies for a religious organization exception to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Therefore, this position requires active membership in a Southern Baptist church (which is defined as a church which is cooperating with Oklahoma Baptists) or in a faith-aligned, evangelical church which declares the Bible as the foundation for its faith and practice.
Working Environment
- This position generally works in an office environment but may occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office setting.
- Travel and operation of a vehicle may be required.
