Job Summary
Hands on leader that is able to perform service, maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, improvements, and modifications of HVAC equipment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a HVAC/R Installer/Service Technician.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, Controls, Electrical, and Plumbing systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude skills
- Strong knowledge of heat pump systems, natural / propane gas systems, and ductless mini-split systems.
- Valid drivers license
- Must be detail oriented
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain HVAC equipment
- Troubleshoot defective equipment
- Perform routine maintenance
- Refrigeration, gas, and hydronic piping
- Control and electrical wiring
- Test and start-up HVAC equipment
- Comply with OSHA standards and Waters Mechanical, Inc. handbook
Physical demands
- The employee is regularly required to stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities include the ability to see well up close and at a distance, the ability to distinguish colors, good peripheral vision and depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
