Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive, learn, and develop essential skills. The Infant Teacher will be responsible for implementing curriculum, fostering social and emotional growth, and ensuring the overall well-being of each child in their care.

Duties

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote reaching developmental milestones and developing skills.
  • Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting positive interactions among students.
  • Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support each child's educational journey.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate findings to staff and families
  • Foster an inclusive atmosphere that accommodates children with special needs or diverse backgrounds.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational best practices.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices.
  • Experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting.
  • Proficient in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Familiarity with behavior management strategies to support positive child interactions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
