What You'll Do
- Lead the day-to-day operations of our swim program
- Manage, coach, and develop Instructors, Instructor Trainers, and Deck Supervisors
- Interview, hire, train, and onboard new team members
- Create instructor schedules and ensure proper staffing
- Oversee class schedules, student progression, and program quality
- Maintain safety standards, certifications, and training requirements
- Partner with the Site Manager on inventory, supplies, and operational needs
- Build strong relationships with families and provide outstanding customer service
What You'll Bring
- 2 years of aquatics experience, including swim instruction and/or aquatics operations, required
- Previous leadership or management experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- A passion for coaching, mentoring, and developing others
- Ability to work at least two evenings and one weekend day each week
- Ability to travel between Watermelon Swim locations as needed
- Current Lifeguard, CPR/First Aid, and Water Safety Instructor certifications, or the ability to obtain and maintain them
