Position Summary:
Watermelon Mountain Ranch is seeking a motivated and outgoing Community Outreach Coordinator to help grow community partnerships and secure sponsorships for our annual major fundraising events. This role is key to expanding our donor base and increasing event revenue to support our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, contact, and secure event sponsors
- Build and maintain relationships with local businesses and community partners
- Develop sponsorship packages and present opportunities to potential sponsors
- Track outreach efforts and sponsorship commitments
- Collaborate with the events team to align sponsorships with event needs
- Represent Watermelon Mountain Ranch at community events and networking opportunities
- Conduct Ranch Tour every Saturday and occasional weekdays
- Assist with Volunteer Program activities
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in sales, fundraising, or community outreach preferred
- Comfortable with cold outreach (email, phone, in-person)
- Organized and self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple leads
- Passion for animal welfare and nonprofit work
Compensation:
Rate based on experience
