Job Description
Watermark Photography is a fast-paced, high-volume school and sports photography company looking for a reliable, skilled Second Photographer to join our seasonal team.
This role is ideal for someone who is confident behind the camera, thrives in an energetic environment, and enjoys working with children. Our picture days move quickly—so we’re looking for someone who can balance speed, consistency, and great people skills.
What You’ll Do
- Photograph students and athletes in a high-volume setting
- Maintain consistent quality and composition across sessions
- Work alongside a team to keep picture day running smoothly and on schedule
- Follow established posing, lighting, and workflow guidelines
- Create a positive, efficient experience for students and staff
Schedule
- Part-time, seasonal position
- Weekday availability required
- Early mornings (7:00 AM start time is standard)
Qualifications
- Experience shooting in manual mode
- Strong understanding of the exposure triangle (ISO, shutter speed, aperture)
- Solid composition and attention to detail
- Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable following direction and working within a structured system
Preferred (but not required):
- Studio lighting experience
- School or sports photography experience
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well with children of all ages
- Positive, professional attitude
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
