OpenClaw Setup Hands-On Training for Non-Technical User
I’m looking for a patient, experienced AI specialist, prefer if in Miami Florida, to help me and an associate get set up and actually teach me how to use them:
1. OpenClaw — Open-source personal AI assistant that runs locally and connects to messaging apps
About Me:
I’m non-technical. I’m comfortable using apps and software day-to-day, but I don’t have experience with terminals, Docker, API keys, or coding. I need someone who can explain things clearly and walk me through everything step by step — no jargon without explanation.
Associate much more experienced with Cowork.
What I Need:
🔧 Setup
• Install and configure OpenClaw on my machine or a VPS
• Connect OpenClaw to my preferred messaging channels (e.g., WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack, or Discord — open to your recommendation)
• Configure OpenClaw with appropriate AI model provider(s)
• Basic security setup and best practices for both tools
📚 Training
• Walk me through how to interact with OpenClaw — sending tasks, teaching it my preferences, adding skills
• Show me how to troubleshoot common issues on my own
• Provide a simple reference doc or cheat sheet I can refer back to
Format:
• Screen-share sessions (Zoom or similar) preferred so I can follow along and learn
• Ideally broken into 2–3 sessions over 1–2 weeks so I have time to practice between sessions
• Happy to do a short paid intro call first to make sure it’s a good fit
Budget: Open to proposals. Please share your rate and estimated total hours.
Ideal Candidate:
• Proven experience setting up OpenClaw
• Patient and great at explaining technical concepts to beginners
