Our team is growing, and we are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with strong engineering standard industry practices experience who is ready to play a key role in supporting design engineering, product development, and cross-site initiatives.
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with strong expertise in product design, engineering standards, BoMs and ECN documentation. The ideal candidate has a problem-solving attitude and product hand-on experience with the ability to collaborate with multiple departments across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage design engineering projects with a focus on precision and high attention to detail.
- Work extensively with SolidWorks and Inventor in 3D design and modeling.
- Creating engineering documentation (Test Plans, Reports)
- First level reviewer of engineering drawings and documents following GD&T standards.
- Support product development, including welded parts and assemblies.
- Utilize and manage ERP systems (D365, Agile, TeamCenter) to support engineering and manufacturing processes.
- Create presentations to communicate updates and exchange technical information.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product and process improvements.
- Mentor Junior engineers in engineering industry standards and practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in leading design engineering projects.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and/or Inventor.
- Experience in using a PDM system.
- Proficient in creating technical documents and reports.
- Experience in reviewing engineering drawings and using GD&T standards.
- Knowledge of welded parts and assemblies; electromechanical product design experience a plus.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage priorities across sites.
- This is an on-site position at our site in Snow Hill, NC.
- Experience in marine products is a plus.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
