- Assist in managing day-to-day property operations, including leasing, rent collection, and resident communications
- Support lease administration processes, including lease signing, renewals, and move-ins/move-outs using Yardi or OneSite property management software
- Coordinate property maintenance requests and oversee facilities management to ensure a safe and well-maintained environment
- Uphold Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 guidelines, and other legal requirements such as LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) compliance
- Conduct property tours for prospective residents, upselling available units and highlighting community amenities to maximize occupancy
- Handle legal administrative tasks related to landlord-tenant law, contracts, and conflict management with professionalism and clarity
- Maintain accurate data entry, filing systems, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) records to support operational efficiency
- Provide excellent customer service via phone etiquette and face-to-face interactions, fostering positive relationships with residents and prospects
- Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles; familiarity with multifamily housing preferred
- Strong knowledge of Section 8 programs, Fair Housing regulations, landlord-tenant law, and LIHTC compliance
- Proficiency with property Management Software ; experience with data entry and office administrative tasks
- Excellent customer service skills combined with conflict management abilities to resolve resident concerns effectively
- Ability to negotiate lease terms, upsell units, and handle contracts confidently
- Office experience including filing, phone etiquette, and general administrative support necessary for daily operations
- Knowledge of property maintenance procedures and facilities management practices and bi-lin-gual is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in legal documentation, data entry, and record keeping
