What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Academy Teacher-Middle School Math position at WATERFORD PUBLIC SCHOOLS?
Waterford Public Schools is excited to announce an enhanced summer learning experience for our students and is looking for motivated, collaborative, and enthusiastic Math Teachers for Summer School 2026. Summer Academy Teachers will provide instruction in Algebra Prep for Middle School students.
Waterford Public Schools serves approximately 2,400 students in grades PK-12. The District’s facilities include three elementary schools, one middle school and one high school. The Waterford Board of Education is a nine-member elected body.
Qualifications:
Classes will meet beginning July 6th and continuing through August 6th, 2026.
Monday-Thursday 8:30am-11:00am.
Location: Great Neck Elementary
State of CT Elementary endorsement 229 or 029 Mathematics required.
Summer school supplemental positions shall be paid at the rate of $46.00 per hour reflecting working hours and/or instruction; preparation time is not separately compensated.
