What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute School Nurse position at WATERFORD PUBLIC SCHOOLS?
Are you looking for a position with a flexible schedule and competitive hourly wages? Waterford Public Schools is currently hiring Substitute School Nurses. Sub Nurses will provide coverage as needed in both Waterford and East Lyme as coordinated by the Supervisor of District Health Services.
The primary function of the Substitute School Nurse is to provide primary health and emergency care to students, promote wellness and serve as a resource for health concerns when the school Nurse is absent.
Waterford Public Schools serves approximately 2,400 students in grades PK-12. Qualifications:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. A valid State of Connecticut RN license to practice professional nursing
2. BSN preferred, but not required
3. Current CPR certification
4. Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience, preferably in pediatrics and/or community health.
Wage is $324.50 daily rate.
