What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paraeducator FT position at WATERFORD PUBLIC SCHOOLS?
Waterford Public Schools has a vacancy for a team-oriented individual. Waterford Public Schools is seeking an organized, dependable and compassionate Paraeducator at the Avery Point Campus/UCONN to assist with vocational education students. This is a transitional readiness program, preparing students ages 18-22 with post secondary education instruction, community based career exploration and independent living skills. Under the direct supervision of a certified staff member, a paraeducator assists staff with students in the classroom to meet instructional goals and objectives.
Waterford Public Schools serves approximately 2,400 students in grades PK-12. The Waterford Board of Education is a nine-member elected body.
A Para-Pro Certificate, Associate's Degree or 60 college credits is required.
