ESY Pre-Kindergarten Teacher District Wide - Waterford, CT 06385 Overview Education Level 4 Year Degree Description Waterford Public Schools is once again excited to announce an enhanced summer learning experience for our students and is looking for motivated, collaborative, and enthusiastic Extended School Year Preschool Teacher(s) for Summer School 2026. Extended School Year classrooms will function as classrooms do throughout the school year with special education students being supported by special education teachers and paraeducators. Waterford Public Schools serves approximately 2,400 students in grades PK-12. Our district is actively seeking to recruit qualified applicants from a diversity of backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences so as to promote a diverse applicant pool for administrative, faculty, and staff positions to better serve our students’ multiple identities and to bring a broader range of experiences into our district to continue to enhance the teaching and learning for ALL. The Waterford Board of Education is a nine-member elected body. Qualifications Classes will be held beginning July 6th and continuing through August 6th, 2026. Monday-Thursday 9:00am-11:00am. Location: Great Neck Elementary State of Connecticut 112, 113, or 065 Endorsement is required. Summer school supplemental positions shall be paid at the rate of $46.00 per hour reflecting working hours and/or instruction; preparation time is not separately compensated.
