Position Summary
The Facilities and Security Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of facility operations, physical security, and front-of-house concierge services at Waterfall Bank. This role ensures a safe, secure, well-maintained, and welcoming environment for employees, clients, vendors, and visitors across all bank locations.
This position integrates facilities management, physical security leadership, customer-facing concierge services, and operational coordination typical of a high-service community banking environment. The role collaborates closely with executive leadership, operations, compliance, IT, and external vendors, and serves as a visible ambassador of the Bank’s culture, values, and service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Facilities:
- Oversee day-to-day facilities operations for all branch and administrative locations, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, roofing, landscaping, generators, signage, furniture, janitorial services, and general maintenance.
- Manage vendor relationships, service contracts, and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate branch upgrades, renovations, repairs, and space optimization projects, including budgeting and project oversight.
- Serve as primary point of contact for facilities-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to bank operations.
- Maintain compliance with safety, ADA, fire, and building code requirements.
Physical Security & Safety:
- Administer the Bank’s Physical Security Program, including: Access control systems and visitor management Alarm systems and monitoring Surveillance (CCTV) systems Opening and closing security procedures Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols and security checks of bank facilities and parking areas.
- Monitor security systems for suspicious activity and respond appropriately to incidents.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, incident reports, and security documentation; escalate issues to management as required.
- Act as liaison with law enforcement, emergency responders, and security vendors.
- Support fraud prevention and investigations through surveillance review and access coordination.
- Promote a calm, professional, and visible security presence that supports both safety and client comfort.
- Prepare and administer robbery response and other security incident training.
Concierge:
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors entering the bank, providing a professional, welcoming presence.
- Greet clients, provide directions, announce arrivals to staff, and ensure guests are properly assisted while in the lobby.
- Verify employee, visitor, and vendor credentials and maintain visitor/vendor access logs.
- Balance security protocols with high-touch service expectations consistent with community banking values.
- Assist with special client needs, executive visitors, and events as requested.
- Business Continuity & Operational Support:
- Support business continuity, emergency preparedness, and disaster recovery planning in coordination with management.
- Assist with annual testing, drills, and post-event.
Minimum Qualifications
- Prior experience in facilities management, physical security, or banking operations.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed for openings/closings, incidents, or facility emergencies.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a community bank or financial services environment is strongly preferred.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Community Bank Security Officer – CCBSO).
- Notary Public designation a plus.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements
- This role may require flexibility in working hours, including occasional evenings, weekends, or off-hours support, to uphold our commitment to 24/7 client service availability.
- The role requires frequent walking and standing, with occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds. The incumbent must be able to climb ladders, access elevated areas, and perform inspections in various environments. Activities may include bending, kneeling, reaching, and responding to emergency situations.
- Ability to travel between locations as needed for assessments, meetings, project oversight, etc.
