Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Dining Room Server to join our culinary team. As a key member of the team, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our residents receive exceptional service during meals.
Main Responsibilities:
- Greet residents warmly and assist with seating in the dining room
- Take and serve meal selections while maintaining excellent communication skills
- Ensure proper dining room setup and table setting
- Assist with cleaning, mopping, sweeping, and dusting the kitchen and dining room as needed
- Complete side work, including napkin folding, stocking, and cleaning the wait station
- Provide high-quality customer service to promote a restaurant-style dining atmosphere
- Report any equipment or supply needs to the Cook or Executive Chef
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen and dining area
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, team members, residents, family members, vendors, referral sources, and outside contacts
- Passion for working with senior citizens
