What are the responsibilities and job description for the EEG Technician position at Waterbury Hospital?
Perform standard and complex EEG recordings on pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric population acknowledging age specific requirements. Perform all EEG protocols and recognize abnormal EEG tracings. Elicit historical or physical information or data needed to perform EEG tests and enter EEG charges into the Health Information System.
Requirements: High School Diploma required. 1-2 years experience in a clinical or healthcare setting or experience in clinical EEG training under the supervision of a neurologist. Ability to work in a fast paced environment including exposure to all patient elements and blood borne pathogens. Employment Type: Per Diem Shift: Days Hours: per diem 8a-4p
