Operational Technology Network & Cybersecurity Analyst

Summary Of Position

This entry-level position reports to the Director of OT and will support WaterBridge’s Operational Technology (OT) Network. As a Network and Cybersecurity Analyst, you will gain hands-on experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and securing critical OT network infrastructure. This role is designed for individuals looking to build a career in networking and cybersecurity, offering exposure to real-world systems, industry standards, and best practices.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

The following represents most of the position's duties but is not meant to be all-inclusive or prevent other duties from being assigned when necessary. Employees are expected to comply with all regulatory, environmental, and safety rules and standards, as well as corporate policies.

As an Operational Technology (OT) Network & Cybersecurity Analyst, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting with network monitoring to ensure availability, performance, and reliability.
• Supporting the configuration and maintenance of networking devices (switches, routers, firewalls) in the OT environment.
• Helping maintain proper network segmentation and security controls.
• Learning to use and manage network monitoring and cybersecurity tools to detect and respond to anomalies.
• Supporting efforts in patching, updates, and backups for network devices.
• Assisting in documenting network diagrams, asset inventories, and configurations.
• Participating in incident responses and troubleshooting activities under the guidance of senior team members.
• Contributing to cybersecurity practices by learning to apply security policies, access controls, and vulnerability assessments.
• Collaborating with IT and OT teams to better understand how to securely bridge networks.
• Taking part in trainings, audits, and assessments to gain exposure to compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISA-99).
• Supporting projects related to network scalability, redundancy, and disaster recovery planning.
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience) is required.
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA Network , Security , or equivalent entry-level credentials is highly preferred.
• Coursework or internship experience in networking, cybersecurity, or related fields is preferred.
• Must have familiarity with basic networking concepts (IP addressing, VLANS, routing, firewalls).
• Must have an interest in cybersecurity best practices and industry standards.
• Must have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment and respond to on-call requests with support from senior staff.
• Must be able to demonstrate advanced organizational skills, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
• Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated.
• Self-motivated and eager to gain hands-on experience in OT networking and cybersecurity.
  
  

Working Conditions/Environment

• Operates in a professional and/or business casual office environment.
  
  

Position Type

• This is a full-time position, with the expectation to respond to On-Call Request during Network Outages.
• Monday – Thursday (9 hours) & Friday (4 hours).
• This is a Hybrid position, with working both in office and remotely.

• Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday
• Remote schedule:
