The History of Water Street Brewery
Water Street Brewery, Milwaukee’s first brew pub, opened its doors in 1987 in downtown Milwaukee offering
patrons a variety of award winning beers brewed on premise. A second location opened in Delafield in
1999, Grafton in 2010 and most recently Oak Creek in 2015.
All four Water Street Brewery locations showcase its extensive Wisconsin brewing memorabilia collection – the largest in the United States - featuring one-of-a-kind lithographs, large scale neons, statues, corner signs, tap knobs and much more.
Water Street Brewery continues to be a Milwaukee favorite and strongly established restaurant group with additional creative concepts such as Trinity Three Irish Pubs, The Harp Irish Pub, Vagabond, and Louise’s Catering and Events.
