The Spa Supervisor will coordinate the daily operations of the spa, ensuring exceptional guest service, a relaxing and rejuvenating spa experience, and adherence to the highest standards of hygiene and professionalism. Maximize guest satisfaction, revenue generation, and team performance.
Primary Tasks:
- Oversee the daily operations of the spa, including reception, treatment rooms, relaxation areas, and retail areas.
- Supervise, train, and mentor spa therapists, estheticians, and other spa staff, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
- Greet and welcome guests to the spa, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.
- Manage guest appointments, scheduling treatments, and coordinating therapist availability.
- Monitor guest satisfaction levels and address guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Ensure adherence to spa policies and procedures, including hygiene protocols, safety standards, and product usage guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the spa facilities, including treatment rooms, relaxation areas, and public spaces.
- Manage inventory of spa products, supplies, and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper storage.
- Promote and sell spa services and retail products, providing guests with information and recommendations.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as front office and housekeeping, to ensure seamless guest service delivery.
- Implement strategies to maximize revenue generation and optimize spa operations.
- Maintain accurate records of guest appointments, treatments, and product sales.
- Assist with the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new spa staff.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of spa goals and strategies.
- Stay informed about current spa trends, treatments, and products.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Spa Manager / Spa Director.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and staff.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in problem-solving and conflict resolution.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of spa treatments, products, and industry best practices.
- Requires frequent walking, standing, and bending.
- Ability to lift, push, pull and carry 25lbs.
- May involve assisting guests with mobility needs.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a spa environment.
