Front Desk Team Members provide exceptional guest service as the first point of contact for guests, ensuring smooth and efficient check-in and check-out experience. Handle guest inquiries, resolve issues, and create a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere.
Primary Tasks:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, offering assistance and anticipating their needs.
- Efficiently process guest arrivals and departures, including registration, room assignments, and key issuance.
- Manage guest reservations, confirming bookings, modifying existing reservations, and accommodating special requests.
- Answer phone calls and emails promptly and professionally, responding to inquiries, providing information, and resolving issues.
- Provide accurate information about the hotel, its amenities, and local attractions, acting as a knowledgeable resource for guests.
- Respond to guest concerns in a timely and professional manner, striving for guest satisfaction and resolution.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle guest concerns effectively.
- Flexible schedule as shifts include days, evenings, weekdays, weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Primarily involves standing for extended periods.
- Requires manual dexterity for computer use, paperwork, and handling cash transactions.
- May involve occasional lifting and carrying of light objects (up to 20 lbs).
- Must be 18 years or older.
