What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Sales Person position at Water Mill Wine & Spirits?
Water Mill Wine & Spirits is looking to hire a part-time Retail Sales Person.
We are a family-owned business in The Hamptons that everyone loves.
Prefer someone who has some knowledge about wine and spirits. Ideally you have worked in a wine shop or restaurant or bar selling wine and top shelf spirits.
Thats said, we are certainly open to training the right person who may lack the experience but is sharp and ready to learn.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be reliable and trustworthy
- Be self-motivated
- Be eager to learn and grow in a fun and exciting industry
- Have a positive attitude and good customer service skills
Responsibilities:
- Work with customers in the store and on the phone based on their needs and preferences and help recommend products
- Receive and stock inventory as needed.
- Operate a Mac based Point of Sale system and cash drawer.
- Fulfill delivery orders via Uber Eats and our App/Website.
Schedule:
- We can make a schedule flexible to the needs of the right candidate. Can be a mix of weekdays and some weekend work, for example, Sunday, Monday, Tues 12-9.
The most important thing for us to find some we can trust and that our customers can rely on as well. We are the very cool boutique wine store that is the go to in The Hamptons and our customers LOVE it here.
