Plumber Technician

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, pipes, fixtures, and appliances in residential and commercial buildings.
• Inspect plumbing systems for leaks, clogs, and other issues, and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan installations and repairs.
• Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with contractors, electricians, and other construction professionals as needed.
• Communicate with clients about issues, solutions, and maintenance recommendations.

Skills

• Knowledge of residential and commercial plumbing codes and standards.
• Proficient in pipefitting, soldering, threading, and installing plumbing fixtures.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair water heaters, pumps, and plumbing systems.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
• Capable of working in tight spaces, lifting heavy materials, and handling tools safely.
• Experience reading blueprints and technical diagrams for planning and installation.

Pay: $ $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
