What You Will Do

Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and interpreting plans, scopes of work, repair specifications, and project documentation from engineers, architects, clients, and management.
- Visiting job sites to gather details, document conditions, and compile the information needed to build accurate estimates.
- Estimating and forecasting project costs, including labor, materials, subcontractor pricing, equipment, and other job-related expenses.
- Contacting subcontractors and vendors to obtain pricing for specific trade work when required.
- Coordinating schedules, tracking deadlines, and keeping clients and internal team members informed.
- Managing assigned jobs, including work progress, subcontractor coordination, job costs, and overall project completion.
- Planning ahead to prevent delays, identify potential issues early, and solve problems as they arise.
- Communicating professionally with clients, subcontractors, coworkers, vendors, and management by phone, email, and in person.
- Supporting safety requirements, participating in safety meetings, and using proper personal protective equipment when required.
- Incorporating applicable OSHA requirements, building code considerations, permit needs, and project-specific requirements into estimates and project planning.
- Maintaining confidentiality regarding client, company, employee, and project information.
- Working as part of a team and helping create a professional, accountable, and solution-focused work environment.
