Responsibilities
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process customer purchases, returns, and exchanges
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries
- Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments with precision and integrity
- Upsell products and promote store promotions or special offers to enhance sales opportunities
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented
- Conduct product demos when appropriate to showcase features and benefits to customers
- Follow proper phone etiquette when answering inquiries or providing assistance over the phone
- Assist with inventory management tasks such as stock replenishment and merchandising setups
Experience
- Prior experience in cashiering or retail sales is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
- Must get food manager certification within 60 days of hiring.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and calculating change confidently
