As an IT Infrastructure Field Specialist, you'll be supporting technology at our Greens Port Industrial Park. If you're looking for an exciting role that combines fieldwork, IT installation, and problem-solving, this is your opportunity.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Installing and supporting IT infrastructure, firewall configuration, VPN setup, and network diagnostics
- Running and terminating network cables and performing IT troubleshooting in field environments
- Supporting new location openings, traveling nationwide to implement technology systems
- Maintaining site security systems, including door access and camera systems
- Documenting and maintaining network configurations and standard operating procedures
- Providing on-site support in rail yards and industrial environments—safety certifications will be provided
- Working independently in remote satellite locations, solving complex IT challenges
- 2-4 years of field experience is required
- Technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA A , Network , or similar) preferred
- Vocational or technical training in IT or networking is a plus2 years of experience Working in the field with Infrastructure related equipment
- Hands-on skills in setting up routers, switches, Wi-Fi, and user hardware
- Experience with cabling and low-voltage installations
- Knowledge of 4G networks and radio equipment (preferred but not required)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, work on ladders, rooftops, and in industrial settings
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- English proficiency required; Spanish is a plus
