Multiple commodities are handled at this terminal, including lumber, steel, building materials, liquids, and aggregates.Additional Location Info : https : / / www.watco.com / service / terminals / glendale-az / Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDrive truck to established destination to load / unload per customer requirements.Inspect truck for defects before and after trips and submit reports indicating truck condition.Maintain driver logs.Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs.Remove snow or other foreign materials from vehicle.Operate and maintain trucks.Help, mentor, and train personnel.Perform all work in compliance with Company standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentClass A CDL License - No manual restrictionMust be 18 years or older1 or more year(s) related experience preferred but not requiredMust be able to pass and or obtain all reporting, testing, and certifications as required for this position.Skills and AbilitiesLearns from directions, observations, and mistakes and applies procedures using good judgment.Provides outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations.Works well with a team, takes direction and follows work rules, as well as take on additional job responsibilities as needed or assigned.Read and accurately interpret company documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and federal and state regulations.Communicate professionally and effectively.Maintain regular, dependable attendance and a high level of performance.Flexibility required; ability to work days, nights, weekends, holidays. Must be able to work 12-hour shifts.
