Overview
Watch Us Farm is at a pivotal moment in our journey. With the launch of our capital campaign to build the new Watch Us Campus, we are seeking a campaign director to work with us over the next 18 months. We envision this as a part-time position to coordinate the campaign, engage with donors, tee up conversations for Janice and David, and steward the information and relationships that will bring our vision to life. To support the campaign director, we have engaged national-level fundraising consultants at JGA as well.
The campaign stands at $3.5M raised on an estimated of$10M needed to build the campus. We have just completed a successful event raising over $300,000 and boosted relationships and passion for this effort. Momentum is strong, but we need help and a leader who can take us tothe next level.
What you’ll do
- Lead and manage the capital campaign to fund the development of our new campus
- Develop and implement strategic fundraising timelines
- Develop campaign materials and communications
- Expand on our campaign donor prospect list through research and networking
- Identify, cultivate, and solicit principal major donors
- Track and report on campaign progress to the Watch Us Farm team, donors, and board
Basic qualifications
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Passion for serving individuals with disabilities
- Willingness to collaborate with a fast-moving and mission-driven team
- Confidence in themselves
Preferred qualifications
- 3 years of fundraising experience
- Proven track record of securing major gifts and grants
- Some experience with principal donors $1M
