Role Description
As a UX Developer focused on Frontend Systems & Design at Scale, you will build the interfaces that translate complex simulation data and AI-driven behaviors into intuitive, high-performance operator experiences. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and design, with a strong emphasis on craft, usability, and scalability. You’ll often operate with minimal design oversight, owning interaction decisions and frontend architecture for mission-critical systems used in real-world operations.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain reusable, high-quality UI components and frontend systems
- Translate complex simulation outputs and agent behaviors into clear, usable interfaces
- Own frontend architecture decisions, interaction paradigms, and component design
- Collaborate closely with backend and AI engineers to build data-rich, real-time UIs
- Ensure frontend performance, reliability, and scalability in mission-critical contexts
- Establish frontend patterns and UX standards that scale with product complexity
- Iterate quickly while maintaining a high bar for polish, usability, and clarity
Basic Qualifications
- Strong professional experience with TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks
- Hands-on experience building production UIs with React and modern tooling (Vite or similar)
- Excellent UX instincts with strong attention to interaction details and usability
- Ability to independently translate ambiguous requirements into thoughtful UX solutions
- Comfort working onsite in a fast-moving startup environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing and maintaining reusable component libraries or design systems
- Background working on complex, data-dense, or real-time user interfaces
- Familiarity collaborating closely with backend and AI teams
- Interest in simulation systems, AI-driven products, or operational software
- Strong product mindset and bias toward ownership

Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $170,000 - $200,000
