What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intern Mechanical Engineering position at Watchfire?
Responsibilities
- Participate in hardware development activities
- Assist Mechanical Engineers with projects and prototyping as needed
- Help with testing and evaluation of new and existing products
- Collaborate closely with R&D team members
- Experience with CAD software, preferably Autodesk products (Inventor)
- Experience with Microsoft software, Outlook, Word, Excel and Sharepoint
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Must be at least 18 years of age by the start of semester
- Able to work up to 40 hours per week during summer session
- Student enrolled in Engineering/Technology: Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, ME, MET, EE, EET preferred
- Must have been enrolled full-time for the current semester, new graduates are still eligible for this position
