Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. This role involves working with children of various ages, providing care, engaging in educational activities, and fostering their development.
Duties
- Supervise and monitor the safety of children in the classroom and during activities.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote childhood development.
- Provide care for infants and young children, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Support children with disabilities or special needs, adapting activities to meet individual requirements.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging social interaction and emotional growth.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive childcare program.
Skills
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and practices.
- Experience working in daycare settings or similar environments.
- Ability to educate and engage children through creative play and structured activities.
- Knowledge of special education practices for working with children with disabilities is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
