Overview
We are seeking a Painter/Painter's helper to join our team. The ideal candidate does not need experience but experience is preferred in both residential and commercial painting, along with a strong understanding of color theory and construction practices. This role requires attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team on various projects, including renovations and restorations.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as needed.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to various surfaces using brushes, rollers, and airless paint spraying equipment.
- Perform plastering, caulking, and trim carpentry tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure high-quality results.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

- Skills
- Proficiency in residential and commercial painting techniques.
- Strong understanding of color theory and its application in design.
- Experience with hand tools and power tools commonly used in painting and construction.
- Knowledge of plastering, stucco application, and concrete finishing techniques.
- Familiarity with renovation processes, including remodeling and restoration work.
- Basic math skills for measuring areas and calculating material needs.
- Experience with fixture installation and maintenance tasks is a plus.
