What are the responsibilities and job description for the District-Wide Custodian & Bus Driver position at Watauga?
An employee in this class performs a variety of manual activities cleaning and maintaining buildings. An employee in this class also controls and performs minor maintenance to the building heating and air conditioning equipment. The employee performs a variety of duties in accordance with established practices and cleaning schedules. An employee in this class will introduce minor changes to procedures and solve simple problems before contacting a supervisor. Individual will work across the district to provide custodial and bus transportation services.
High school diploma required. Experience preferred, but not required. Must hold or be able to obtain a commercial driver's license with S and P endorsements in order to drive a school bus.
Custodian rate of pay is $16.07 per hour and bus driver rate of pay is $18.56 per hour.
