Description:
- Responsible for assisting individuals with disabilities meet their goals.
- Provide adaptive skills training, positive integrative community experiences, and related educational activities.
- Areas include health and wellness such as exercise activities, employment skills, transportation, volunteering, and communication/social skills.
- Keep accurate records and documentation of daily activities and progress for each participant as required by service standards.
- Implement participants’ goals according to their individual plans.
- Act as an advocate and communicate professionally with other agencies, families, staff, etc.
Qualifications:
- Ability to effectively work with adults with developmental disabilities.
- High school diploma required and two years of experience in related area is preferred.
- Ability to actively assist, demonstrate, and participate with participants in varied activities and locations related to service delivery.
- Background check, MVR check, Driver's License with acceptable driving record, and reliable vehicle required.
Details:
- Part Time, 15-28 hours per week with the possibility for additional hours.
- Hours are Monday through Friday, daytime.
