As a Roll-Off Driver, you play a critical role in our daily operations and are often the face of our company.
Responsibilities- Safely operate a roll-off truck to deliver, exchange, and remove dumpsters.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns.
- Secure containers properly and operate hydraulic equipment safely.
- Navigate residential neighborhoods, construction sites, and commercial properties safely and efficiently.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding route updates, delays, or customer concerns.
- Complete required paperwork and electronic tickets accurately.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance and provide courteous customer service.
- Follow all DOT regulations, company safety policies, and traffic laws.
- Keep trucks clean and assist with basic preventative maintenance when needed.
- Report accidents, equipment damage, or unsafe conditions immediately.
- Minimum Class C Commercial Driver License (CDL) required.
- Clean driving record with a strong commitment to safe driving.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- Ability to obtain and maintain DOT medical certification.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Experience operating roll-off, dump, or commercial trucks preferred.
- Experience working in the waste, construction, or transportation industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with Birmingham and surrounding areas is beneficial.
