Portable Toilet Driver

Responsibilities

• Operate a company service truck and drive to various locations to service, pump, and refresh portable restrooms or deliver units for our clients in accordance with Wasted and DOT requirements. Pump the mixed waste stream and/or urine stream into the appropriate truck tank.
• Provide outstanding customer service when on customer worksites to ensure services are completed to their satisfaction.
• Ensure proper unloading of waste streams. Depending on the delivery and service type, empty the truck at the Wasted*Hub and/or local wastewater treatment plants.
• Use a tablet with route and service software to efficiently complete jobs; complete required route paperwork.
• Check, wash, and repair units and vehicles as needed.
• Demonstrate professional behavior, an accountable work ethic, and adapt to a flexible schedule. Perform all work duties in a safe manner in accordance with Wasted* and DOT safety standards to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Support team scheduling and customer communication
• Support Operations Manager scheduling job tickets, routes, and pick-up and delivery sequences to serve our customers.
• Field customer communications, inbound and outbound, regarding expected delivery/service times or issues such as locked gates or missed services.
• Work with team members in sales and customer support to schedule services and meet customer needs.
• Provide drivers with needed resources and support drivers during reported emergencies.

Qualifications and skills

• Team player with a "can-do" attitude.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Maintains a calm and level-headed demeanor under pressure and in challenging or stressful situations.
• Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Able to walk up to 30 minutes at a time without exertion and lift 30 lbs from floor to head. Able to pull/push 100 lbs horizontally.
• Valid driver's license (CDL or non-commercial).
