Mechanic – Full-Time
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanic to join our team. Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles, including light-duty, heavy-duty, and industrial equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and recommend effective solutions.
- Conduct thorough inspections and testing to identify potential safety hazards or mechanical concerns.
- Repair or replace components such as tires, brakes, shocks, struts, steering, suspension, and electrical systems.
- Align and balance tires to ensure optimal handling and performance.
- Fabricate or modify parts as needed using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Operate diagnostic and specialized repair equipment efficiently and safely.
- Maintain detailed records of all services, repairs, and parts used.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as a mechanic preferred.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools, repair equipment, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Strong understanding of automotive systems including engines, transmissions, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Familiarity with air brake systems and related maintenance procedures.
- Experience with soldering and electrical component repairs.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Must be able to remain on feet for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work independently on complex mechanical problems and follow through to resolution.
