Job Overview
As the Office Manager you are responsible for overseeing daily administrative and financial operations for the Denver office, ensuring accurate financial processing, effective office operations, and strong support of local business activities. This role partners closely with the Corporate Controller and Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable teams while owning local accounts receivable execution, work order administration, and office management responsibilities.
This position plays a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting audits, managing operational data and compliance reporting, and driving continuous process improvement across the Denver operation.

- Manage the work order process, including creation, review, reconciliation of changes, and verification of pricing accuracy in accordance with customer agreements.
- Oversee local accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, billing accuracy, payment application, aging review, and collection support.
- Perform regular accounts receivable aging and collections analysis; escalate issues and support resolution of delinquent accounts.
- Audit work orders, billing, and related documentation to identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated customer inquiries related to billing, invoicing, and payment issues while maintaining positive client relationships.
- Manage waste manifests, compliance documentation, and operational data systems; ensure accurate reporting and record retention.
- Support local budgeting, forecasting, and basic financial analysis in coordination with the Controller and site leadership.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to support internal controls, internal audits, and annual audit activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounts receivable, accounts payable, and administrative workflows; recommend and implement process improvements.
- Oversee daily office operations, including administrative procedures, office systems, vendor coordination, and general office management.
- Ensure proper use, accuracy, and maintenance of accounting and operational systems used at the site level.
- Manage competing priorities and ensure deadlines are met in a fast‑paced operational environment.

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 3–5 years of progressive experience in accounting, accounts receivable, office administration, or operations administration; prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, internal controls, and accounts receivable and collections practices.
- Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Office applications, with strong Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.
- Proven problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify issues and implement practical solutions.
- High ethical standards and integrity in handling financial, operational, and customer information.
