Our client is a rapidly growing waste services company seeking a Controller in Mississippi. This position serves as a senior financial leader responsible for overseeing accounting operations and providing strategic financial guidance across multiple facilities within a region. The role partners closely with regional leadership and corporate finance to ensure accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and data-driven decision-making that improves profitability and operational performance. Responsibilities include leading the monthly close, budgeting and forecasting, variance and trend analysis, asset management, and process improvements. The Controller also manages transactional finance functions, drives automation and efficiency, develops financial models and dashboards, and leads and mentors accounting team members, while maintaining a team-first mindset, high accountability, and a commitment to operational excellence. Salary would be 75-85k plus benefits.
