Waste Recovery Systems is looking to add an experienced CDL A licensed Roll-off Driver to our team. Must have at least 1 year of verifiable experience operating a roll off. Experience and licensure in manual transmission is required.
Position Overview: Operates a specialized truck to transport and dispose of waste and debris using roll-off containers, ensuring safe and timely delivery while adhering to safety and environmental regulations.

Essential Job Functions
Regular physical and reliable attendance are an essential function of this position. Full-time position. Work hours may not be typical, on call rotation for emergency services. Overtime expected.
Safe Vehicle Operation: Inspect, prepare, secure, transport, and unload open top or compact containers to various sites. Must be skilled in operating heavy vehicles, including navigating tight and/or congested spaces, parking lots, roadways, etc. Precise backing skills are crucial for loading and unloading containers at various locations. Responsible for own on the job safety and work quality. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with FMCSR guidelines.
Container Handling: Safely hooking and unhooking containers from the truck, and ensuring they are properly secured for transport. May need to manually tarp containers to protect the load and prevent spills. Assisting with loading and unloading materials, including moving items to the load.
Route Management and Communication: Following instructions from dispatch or supervisors regarding routes, locations, and delivery schedules. Locating and reading maps and using GPS to navigate routes efficiently. Communicating with dispatch, supervisors, or stakeholders regarding any issues or delays encountered.
Safety and Compliance: Following all company safety policies and procedures. Promptly reporting any incidents, accidents, injuries or property damage to management. Participating in all scheduled training, briefings, and meetings. Complying with all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Administrative: Performing the administrative duties to ensure proper business function as well as compliance with customers, federal, state, and local mandates.
