Base Salary $68k Uncapped Commission

The Role

As a Construction Sales Representative, you’ll be the driving force behind our growth in Dade County, helping businesses, municipalities, and residents manage their waste and recycling needs. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect & Develop: Identify new opportunities and build strong, lasting relationships with potential clients in Dade County.
  • Consultative Sales: Understand customer needs and provide tailored waste management solutions that solve their challenges.
  • Close & Grow: Own the full sales cycle, from initial contact to closing deals, while continuously expanding your client base.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery and satisfaction.

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Relevant professional experience may substitute for formal education.
  • 1–2 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development within the waste services industry, with a strong focus on commercial sales.
  • At least 1 year of progressive sales experience demonstrating growth and increased responsibility.
  • Proven ability to utilize consultative, solution-oriented selling techniques.
  • Skilled in negotiation, bid preparation, contract management, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with lead generation, client engagement, presentations, account management, pricing strategies, and closing sales.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong organizational, interpersonal, listening, presentation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Maintains a high level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards.
  • Basic proficiency with sales automation tools that support the sales process.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Experience developing strategies to grow sales, control costs, and identify new business opportunities through multiple channels.
  • Solid understanding of the waste services industry, including competitors and external factors influencing customer decisions.
  • Strong analytical skills in problem-solving, market research, pricing, and financial/profitability analysis, as well as client relationship management.
  • Highly organized with the ability to overcome sales challenges through creative and adaptable solutions.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively within an assigned sales territory.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a cross-functional, team-oriented environment.
