I. Job Summary
The Facility Manager is to be responsible for the overall plant, administration and transportation operations, along with the financial results of one or more location(s) within a district. In conjunction with the Sales, Customer Service, Accounting and Safety, and Environmental groups, the Facility Manager ensures that all regulatory compliance and safety issues are addressed. The Facility Manager will also ensure that the location meets or exceeds its goals as it pertains to safety and regulatory compliance, staying within budgeted costs for the departments, profit growth, operational service metrics, and continuous improvement.

The expected base pay range for this on-site position is $124,890 - $205,965 . This range represents a good faith
estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors
including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.

II. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Oversees operations staff to train and develop an efficient and diverse workforce. They will enforce methods, policies, procedures and other structures to maximize optimum utilization of resources, while ensuring compliance and safety. The manager will monitor, coach, counsel, and promote employees, as needed
- Ensure that operational and customer related functions are completed timely, accurate and sufficiently to meet standards. Meet with the key team members regularly to discuss and analyze reports with the goal of improving productivity and service. Identify inconsistencies and develop action plans consistent with Stericycle’s Customer 1st vision
- Review, analyze, approve, and/or submit the following:
- Payroll registers-Ensure all overtime hours are necessary and all team members are working efficiently
- A/P batches and expense reports-Monitor expenses and account for unexpected changes.
- Manage capital expense projects
- Monthly expense reporting (FRX)
- Monthly revenue/volume reports
- Ensure continuous improvement of team member safety performance in all phases of the operation in order to keep our employees safe. Initiate actions to assure timely resolution of identified hazards or unsafe conditions and practices. Ensure that Incidents are reviewed, safety observations are properly done, driver videos are effectively coached and vehicle tracking technology is monitored and actioned appropriately
- Review work sites and their respective managers in the development and review of information and informational reporting. Coordinate locations cost savings by utilizing Engineering Department Process Improvement and Metrics
- Ensure delivery of services through transportation, plant and customer service functions to enhance customer loyalty. Address issues that arise through customer feedback processes (ex. customer surveys). Ensure all locations are following all DOT regulations, including VCRs (Vehicle Condition Reports), Driver Qualification File requirements, and others
- Works with the Compliance team to ensure the permits for the facilities are current and being followed correctly
- Other duties and responsibilities as requested
- Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in management or Environmental related field preferred, or related equivalent in related work experience.
- 5 years of experience in Logistics/Regulated Waste/Recycling/Plant Processing Operations
- 3 years of management experience
