Job Overview: The Vendor Coordinator supports the bidding process by gathering project requirements, preparing bid proposals, and negotiating with vendors to secure competitive pricing. Strong organizational skills and proficiency in Excel are essential for managing data and ensuring timely, accurate submissions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Prepare and review bid proposals
· Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors
· Manage and track bid data using Excel
· Collaborate with internal teams on bid submissions
· Conduct market research for competitive pricing
· Ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
· Maintain a positive attitude at work
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
· Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
· Ability to learn and navigate proprietary software programs
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
· Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy
· Strong verbal communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage with customers and vendors professionally
· Advanced Excel skills, including the use of basic formulas for pricing analysis and comparison

WORKING CONDITIONS:
· A casual office setting with cubicle workstations. This is an in-office position, not remote.
