As an Operations Supervisor, you’ll be a key leader in our field operations, overseeing daily waste collection activities and ensuring safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. What You’ll Do
- Lead and assign daily work to solid waste collection crews.
- Monitor operations and adjust staffing as needed to meet service goals.
- Conduct field inspections and safety audits to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Address and resolve customer concerns related to collection services.
- Coach and develop team members through performance reviews and feedback.
- Support and implement safety initiatives and compliance programs (OSHA, environmental, local permits).
- Set and execute short- and long-term operational goals.
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
- Experience in transportation, trucking, or logistics is required.
- Experience working in a union environment is strongly preferred.
- Class B CDL (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
- Willingness to relocate for future promotional opportunities.
- Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and business systems.
