Light Equipment Operator

Position: Light Equipment Operator

Location: RIP Landfill 5355 W. Grover Cleveland Blvd.

Responsibilities:

• Operate light equipment such as: Zero-turn mower, farm tractor, water truck, articulated dump truck (ADT), skid steer.
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment.
• Promote continuous improvement in workplace safety and environmental practices.
• Interact with customers and team members to ensure safe and environmentally sound service delivery.
• Participate in training to operate heavy equipment such as: Excavator, Dozer, Motor Grader.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience operating light or heavy equipment.
• Basic knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance.
• Willingness to learn and grow into heavy equipment responsibilities.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow safety procedures.
